Artword News:
Yesterday, a friend of ours who plays frequently at the Artbar received a $65 ticket for busking on King Street in Hamilton. The police officer didn't know the difference between busking and begging. Many a musician has made a living and raised a family playing on the street. On one of the unsightliest corners in Hamilton, a city where heritage buildings fall down from neglect, Ken brings positive energy and truly beautiful music to a blighted downtown. I guess Hamilton doesn't want artists in the city core after all.
