Homeland is a multi-faceted examination of the meaning of home in a hybrid setting of dance, live music and documentary film. The spoken, and often unspoken, words of the personalities in the film (such as writer Lawrence Hill) are translated into a solo dance and physical theatre against the beat of drums and flow of electronic sequences performed by two musicians on stage. Clare Love, singer/songwriter and poet

Hello. I am a singer/songwriter and poet in Toronto. I am interested in putting together some multi-media shows. I had one at “The supermarket” in kensington market about 4 months ago and it was very successful. It was called Loco Local. There were 7 local artisans selling their wares, 2 dj’s, a fashion show and several live performances.

I’ve played around Toronto for the last three years in Bands and doing solo shows. I’m starting to tour outside of Toronto now but want to book a show about once every 4 months that offers a festival like atmosphere and showcases several brands of Local Talent.

You can check out some of my music and poetry at www.myspace.com/clarelovemusic

best,
