Loop Gallery, Forest Primitive”: September 22
You are cordially invited to the launch of Forest Primitive, a chapbook of poetry by Sonia Di Placido which features artwork by Holly Briesmaster.
It’s on Monday, September 22nd, 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Loop Gallery, 1174 Queen St. West, a few buildings east of The Gladstone Hotel at Dufferin & Queen. Sonia will read from the book starting around 7:45. Some of the fan paintings reproduced in the book will be on view.
All are welcome. Refreshments and snacks provided.

On Monday, September 22, 2008 at 8:00 PM, a specially selected group of Toronto’s up and coming comedians will strut their stuff at the exciting annual comedy showcase. The outstanding comedic acts have been invited to perform on the recommendation of the 2008 TSEF Talent Selection Jury and are eligible for nomination for the 2008 Tim Sims Award of Recognition, and the $5000 prize that goes along with it.
