Considered one of the world’s greatest living playwrights, Fosse is little known in North America, but widely regarded as “Norway’s most innovative playwright since Ibsen” (Los Angeles Times). His provocative and primal three-person play involving sexual jealousy is featured in a new English translation by University of Guelph Professor Harry Lane, and One Little Goat’s Artistic Director, Adam Seelig.

LKTYP: “The Emperor’s New Threads”: March 15 – 22

March Break spells FUN at LKTYP with lively puppet and mask production based on the Hans Christian Andersen classic, “The Emperor’s New Clothes”

As part of their March Break programming the Lorraine Kimsa Theatre is pleased to welcome Vancouver’s Axis Theatre Company and their out of this world physical theatre production The Emperor’s New Threads. The witty adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fable created and staged by Melody and Peter Anderson and featuring Melody’s amazing masks and fabulous costumes, will be presented on the Mainstage from March 15 to 27.
