dance Immersion and DanceWorks present City of Tribes, a unique and explosive international collaboration between Tavaziva Dance (London, U.K.) and Toronto’s COBA (Collective of Black Artists) that runs Thursday May 28 through Saturday May 30 at Harbourfront Centre’s Fleck Dance Theatre.
This dynamic program of African-inspired contemporary dance includes selections from each company’s repertoire as well as the North American premiere of the title piece, City of Tribes, co-choreographed by the Artistic Directors of each of these companies. More »

Cowboys and Indians: May 23 – June 7
Onofono, in association with VideoCabaret, presents the acclaimed clown-mime fantasia Cowboys & Indians, an hilarious piece of physical theatre created and performed by Anand Rajaram with music composed and performed by the celebrated Bob Wiseman. An Eastern Western, this imaginative showdown is wordlessly expressed by Rajaram’s telegraphic body and Wiseman’s eloquent score.
