Toronto Fringe, “ab intra”: July 8 – 17

ab intra
at
Toronto’s Fringe Theatre Festival July 6- 17, 2011.

Suspended in a space where both internal and external realities are expressed, three characters find themselves crossing paths in a mysterious drawing room. In what could be a dream or nightmare, they explore questions of lives lived, lovers loved and the place that exists between light and dark. One by one, as they unravel their tangled stories we see them emerge transformed through the passage of their meeting place.

Crossing an extreme movement vocabulary with intimate theatricality, Bonne Compagnie launches their first dance theatre collaboration to explore what happens when the private becomes spectacle. Choreography and performances by Amanda Acorn, Kate Nankervis and Elke Schroeder. Original music is by Linedrawing, J.P. Tamblyn and Chris Willes with production design by Shannon Doyle and lighting design by Kevin MacLeod.
