The Lower Ossington Theatre (LOT) and Producer Lindsay Woods are proud to present the smash hit of the
2002 Toronto Fringe Festival, Top Gun! The Musical, now celebrating its 10th anniversary. Top Gun! The
Musical, directed by Alexander Plouffe, plays from June 8 to June 29, 2012 at the LOT.
Set in a decrepit rehearsal hall, down and out writer/director Billy Palmer (Apocalypse Wow!) attempts to
keep his musical adaptation of Top Gun from crashing and burning, despite a quarreling cast, a sketchy
ex-Navy Seal producer, and surprise budgetary restrictions.
Top Gun! The Musical is the most successful show in the history of the Toronto Fringe, received Dora
Mavor Moore Award nominations for Outstanding New Musical and Outstanding Performance, received a
Canadian Comedy Award nomination for the Pretty Funny Comedic Play category, and has been well received
in cities across North America.
Top Gun! The Musical is written by Denis McGrath, with music by Scott White.
