Internationally known as Canada’s youngest first lady when she married Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau in 1971, Margaret has since lived a rich and interesting life, raising five children and travelling throughout the world. However, privately, she has struggled with bipolar disorder. More »

On October 23rd starting at 7:30 p.m. the GPAG will feature a new program, How I Spent My Summer Vacation. During this informal evening of mini slide show travelogues three Gallery members will share stories and photos from their recent excursions. Each traveler will have 15 minutes (and 30 images) or less to tell the world about their vacation; the high lights, the low life, and all of the notable moments in between. More »

Workshop, “The Business of Writing”: June 16

Deborah Windsor, the Executive Director of The Writers’ Union of Canada, is holding the workshop on Tuesday, June 16 from 7pm to 9pm.  She’ll be talking about what happens before your work is accepted, getting published, and what happens after and answering any questions you might have on the process.  Check out the “What’s New” link at www.bpl.on.ca for details.  There is limited seating so call (905) 639-3611 ext. 133 to register.
