If Cows Could Fly, a musical play, Feb 15 & 16, 2008
Allan Merovitz’s musical play If Cows Could Fly lands in Hamilton for two nights on its way to Ottawa. Artword Theatre is pleased to announce that their revival production of Allan Merovitz’s If Cows Could Fly, about growing up Jewish in the Ottawa Valley, will debut in Hamilton. Two public performances will be held at the DAC (Downtown Arts Centre, 28 Rebecca Street) Friday and Saturday February 15 and 16, 2008 at 8 pm. Tickets are $15 and $10 for students.

The Storytelling Group consists of people who love telling and listening to stories. The group is open to anyone who has this interest.

Pearl Company News Year’s Eve Party: December 31
Our latest news is we have decided to host a
New Year’s Eve Party!
The request to do so has come from a number of different directions and we are happy to go along.
The rumour is we love a party….
So December 31 at 8:00 we will open the doors to all who care to share this significant evening with us. 16 Steven Street at King William just north of King, 4 blocks east of Victoria, and 2 blocks west of Wentworth. It’s a three-storey warehouse building.
The cost will be $20; munchies and beverages will be on hand. The band, of course, will be Zarabanda with some surprise guests thrown in. My only stipulation is that all music be danceable (Zarabanda fills that bill!); listenable is a given. More »
