Theatre Aquarius presents a double-bill of one-act plays in its Stagewrite Series this January.  In the intimate setting of its Studio Theatre, Theatre Aquarius offers the chance to see two well-matched, passionate plays in a single night: Laughton Common and Chaplin: about Face.

Theatre Aquarius is pleased to present Toronto, Mississippi in a co-production with the Playhouse Theatre Company, Vancouver. Written by Governor General Award-winning playwright Joan MacLeod, this heartfelt family drama is about Jhana, a mentally challenged girl who, like any teenager, tries to decipher a complicated adult world. When Jhana’s father, an Elvis impersonator, returns after a long absence, her unusual family is thrust into action. Return of the Prodigal
We are happy to announce the first talks in our Return of the Prodigal speakers series. This series will feature recent college and university graduates who have majored in fine arts, art history or related programs giving illustrated talks based on their own research or work in the studio.
