Original works by more than 50 artists from the Hamilton area and across the country will be featured at the eagerly awaited Art Gallery of Hamilton’s annual Spring Art Sale, Thursday, May 3 to Sunday, May 6. The four-day sale showcases exciting new works – paintings, sculpture, glass, pottery and jewelry – by established and emerging artists, who are invited to participate in the Spring Art Sale through a selection process. Wiersema (who will present his memoir about growing up to Bruce Springsteen’s music with the help of local musician Anne Marie Pavlov) and Sylvia Tyson. Yes…that Sylvia Tyson, of Ian and Sylvia, CBC radio, the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. She will be reading from her first novel and performing some of the songs it inspired.
