WAHC & The Factory present Working Visionary: Jack Chambers: May 24

JChambersEzine.jpgWAHC is very pleased to partner with the Factory Media Arts Centre to present Working Visionary: Jack Chambers a screening and speakers program on a pioneer in Canadian art and artists’ rights, Jack Chambers.

The event will feature: Curator Tyler Tekatch, Filmmaker Chris Lowry and Kristian Clarke, Executive Director of CARFAC and will include screenings of a documentary about Jack Chambers by Chris Lowry; Chambers, Tracks and Gestures (1982) as well as Chambers’ film masterpiece Hart of London (1970)

We hope you will join us for this very special program, full event information is listed below. Refreshments will be available. Suggested donation of $10 at the door with proceeds to underwrite the evening’s event.

Working Visionary: Jack Chambers will take place Thursday, May 24th, 2012 at 7PM at the Workers Arts & Heritage Centre 51 Stuart St. in Hamilton
