The Canadian Ballet Youth Ensemble presents:

The Nutcracker

starring the National Ballet of Cuba & Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra

The Nutcracker is a wonderful opportunity for talented young dancers to perform with professional artists, dancers, choreographers, and musicians. This year we are pleased to announce that dancers will have the opportunity to share the stage with The National Ballet of Cuba.

A tradition since 1997, CBYE has produced annual presentations of The Hamilton Nutcracker Ballet, reaching audiences of 15,000. This event takes place in mid December with five performances presented over the course of 3 days. In 2004, 65 local dancers together with the renowned classical Kiev Ballet dancers performed to sold out crowds at the Great Hall at Hamilton Place.
