AGH film series presents the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, Audience Award Winner

OnceONCE

The AGH film series screens the charming and heartfelt film Once on Wednesday, December 5 at 7:00 pm at the Empire Jackson Square 6 Cinemas, 2 King Street West, downtown Hamilton.

Tickets are $6.00 for AGH Members, $8.00 for students and seniors and $10.00 for general admission. Tickets may be purchased online in advance at www.artgalleryofhamilton.com, in person at the AGHs Front Desk during Gallery hours or at the venue door the evening of the screening beginning at 6:30 pm.

Featuring Glen Hansard from the Irish band The Frames, Once tells the story of two strangers drawn into each others world; a street musician and a classical pianist. Their lyrical love story is neither conventional nor simple. Where he gives heart to their music, she gives a struggling,
questioning soul. An exceptionally moving film that is both heartbreaking and uplifting. Rated R for language. Winner of Audience Award at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

AGH film series is generously sponsored by Turkstra Lumber.

Additional sponsorship is provided by Empire Theatres. Media support provided by View Magazine. The AGH gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council and the City of Hamilton for all its programmes.
