OMO Dance Company's newest production, Diary of an Exile is a three production intemational collaboration between the OMO Dance Company and Trinidad, using dance and theatre to examine mans search for identity and belonging.
Based on the poems of Guyana-bom h. jay bunyan, Diary of an Exile charts the path of an individual trying to make sense of the chaos within his life through three separate productions:
Part 1 with OMO dancers Tal Aronson, Melissa Bettio, Anthony Guerra, Naomi Lebel, Chantal Meadows and Almond Small looks at a mans struggle for peace amongst the chaotic individuals in his life.
Part 2 with Trinidadian actors Michael Augustine, Khadine - Daisley and Lorraine Dookie documents the breakup of a relationship.
Part 3 with both casts examines the path for changing ones life.

Performance Schedule: Please note that the trilogy will be presented in its entirety on both Saturday and Sunday. Each production runs approximately 75 to 90 minutes and for those of you who would like to see the entire program on Saturday or Sunday - we have scheduled a dinner break. In other words -enjoy a day at the theatre and take in a nice dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants in the Artword neighborhood.
