Saturday October 17, 2015, at 8:00 pm, $15. Birthday Suite, a jazz cabaret with the wonderful vocalist Colina Phillips and  jazz pianist Stacie McGregor. In addition to her own band, the Stacie McGregor Quintet, Stacie is a member of Brandi Disterheft’s Juno-award winning band and Archie Alleyne’s hard-bop band Kollage.   http://www.staciemcgregor.com/ Joining Colina and Stacie is bassist Mike Milligan. Nominated for Jazz Bassist of the Year at the 2008 National Jazz Awards, Mike Milligan has performed and recorded with David Liebman, Joshua Redman, Donny McCaslin, David Binney, Claude Ranger, Jeff Ballard, Billy Kilson, Adam Nussbaum, Don Thompson, and Sonny Greenwich. Mike has toured all around the globe as a sideman including multiple tours of Europe with the Shuffle Demons. He presently also leads his Quartet and co-leads a guitar and double bass duo (SixplusFour) with guitarist James Brown.
