Wednesday December 9, 2015, 8 pm, $10/ $5 students. Celebrate the season with A Charlie Brown Christmas tribute concert with the Aaron Z. Trio (Joel Banks bass, Tyler Goertzen drums, Aaron Zukewich piano).
The Aaron Z Trio will play through A Charlie Brown Christmas,  a 1965 studio album by jazz composer/pianist Vince Guaraldi, sound-track to the CBS Christmas television special. A Charlie Brown Christmas features several originals (Christmas Time Is Here, Linus and Lucy) as well as covers of contemporary Christmas songs (The Christmas Song, O Tannenbaum). Vince Guaraldi went on to compose scores for seventeen Peanuts television specials, plus the feature film A Boy Named Charlie Brown.
