Big Dance, Little Stage, w. Learie Mc Nicolls, Wed-Thur, Sep 20-21

Wednesday and Thursday, September 20 and 21, 2017, at 8 pm $10. Big Dance Little Stage, our ongoing contemporary dance showcase series hosted by choreographer Learie Mc Nicolls, returns. This series provides an opportunity for dancers to showcase new work, explore improvisations, and build new collaborations. Line-up for Sept 20 & 21 so far includes dancer Tanis Sydney Macarthur performing a new work choreographed by Learie Mc Nicolls, and Jackie Pullar (of Wild Orchid Belly Dance) performing a collaborative duet of belly-dance and modern dance with Learie McNicolls. The evening also includes four spoken-word poems with dance, and an improvisation by Learie Mc Nicolls. Live visuals by Judith Sandiford.
