Sad Boys Lit. Society, launch party for Mayami, Sun Oct 15, 6 pm

Sunday October 15, 2017, at 6 pm, $5/pwyc. The Sad Boys Lit. Society presents: a Launch Party for Mayami. Come join the SBLS as they celebrate the release of Ben Robinson‘s chapbook Mayami, (Bird, Buried Press) a collection of poems about the rising tides. All funds raised at the door will be donated to 541 Eatery and Exchange. The evening features performances (musical and poetic) from the likes of:
Ben Robinson: Mayami is a small collection of poems written by Ben Robinson, featuring hand-painted covers. Ben Robinson published poems about potato chips, growing up with a lazy eye, and 78rpm records, among others. The Walrus called his work, “barely legible”.
