The Secrets of the Gypsy Guitar, a performance by the ZINGARESCA Duo: Oleg Timofeyev and Vadim Kolpakov. Oleg Timofeyev is a pioneer in the revival of the Russian seven-string guitar. Vadim Kolpakov is the celebrated Russian-Roma (Gypsy) virtuoso, who grew up in Russian Roma musical tradition. The two musicians have been exploring an intricate mix of the written legacy of Russian guitar composers with the exciting living tradition of the Russian Roma (Gypsy).
