Dance: Fairy Tale, new work by Learie Mc Nicolls, Wed&Thur Mar 7&8

Wednesday & Thursday March 7 & 8, 2018, at 8 pm, $10-15 pwyc. Artword Theatre presents Fairy Tale: sketches for a new dance-poetry work, written, choreographed and performed by Learie Mc Nicolls, with participation by dancer Tanis Macarthur. A sequence of live improvisations to some music and some silence, with words of poetry and dream imagery that explore how fairy tales run a strong parallel in our everyday lives. Guest performer is electronic-based musician Enveloper (Ryan Curran), who provides the real-time soundscape. Enveloper will also perform a solo 30-minute set following the main dance presentation.
