Friday, March 16, 2018, 8 to 11pm, (viernes, 16 de marzo 2018, 20:00 a 23:00), at Artword Artbar, an evening of poetry and music, for the Grito de Mujer International Festival. Hamilton Coordinator is Ama Luna, with collaborators from Friends of the Poet Tree. The theme for 2018 is Faros de esperanza / Beacons of hope.The Grito de Mujer or Woman Scream International Poetry and Arts Festival is a non-profit series of events by volunteers worldwide, poets, artists, painters, actors and literary groups, celebrated throughout the month of March each year. The purpose is to honor women and their role in society though poetry and arts, while delivering a message of non-violence towards women, as well as a sense of community and cultural sharing.
Grito de Mujer se realiza de manera altruista con el apoyo de nuestros colaboradores voluntarios, amigos y seguidores del movimiento y cuenta con la participación de poetas, artistas, pintores, actores e instituciones, y grupos literarios que se suman a la causa. Nuestra iniciativa forma parte de la misión social del movimiento en favor de la mujer y el interés de propagar el mensaje de la no violencia.
