Artword welcomes two delightful long-time friends who have recently teamed up for a cabaret-style show.Veteran composer, creator of the Polka Dogs and seasoned performer, John Millard combines heart wrenching stories, exquisite songs, dark baritone voice and modernist banjo playing in a memorable and rarely heard set of new and old songs.
Sophia Perlman is mostly known for her creative take on other people’s songs. A little over a year ago she went to a residency at the Banff to see if she could find some. Not only did she find some songs, she ran into John Millard. She is excited to sing some of those songs, and to share the stage with him.
