Concert: Solstice, music from Latin America, Thurs Oct 27

Thursday October 27 at 8 pm, $15 (includes CD), $8 concert only. Concert of Latin American music.  Join Solstice for an evening in the tropic islands as they share with you their Cuban, Brazilian,and Spanish music. With special guest vocalist Lil America (from El Salvador via Cuba). 
Solstice was recently formed by four veteran musicians:
Javier Martinez: Singer, and former musical entertainment director, Hotel las Brisas Guardalavca , Cuba.
Julian Reynolds: bass player from Buenos Aires and a veteran of many cruise tours with Argentina’s top pianist.
Dave Aldham: bongos, congas, one of Ontario’s top percussionists for last 40 years, performed in Cuba for the last 10 years.
George Kairy: studied with Justin Perchin, one of Cuba’s top jazz guitarists and Miguel la Batistde, North Americas top flamengo guitarist and performed internationally for many years.
After having just completed a cd recording at Niagara’s famous Barn Window Studio, this diverse group is looking forward to releasing another cd soon featuring more original songs to keep you dancing.
