COLINA PHILLIPS has sung on radio and television shows with Canadian and international performers such as Anne Murray, Celine Dion and Chaka Khan, Bruce Cockburn, Jackie Richardson, Murray McLachlan and Justin Nozuka, was JUNO nominated and with SWAY earned a Gold record. Her singing and songwriting were featured on the jazz CD Blue Mood. With Higher Ground she gives full expression to music that has lived long in her heart.
GRANT BRYANT, MICHAEL HIGHGATE and QUINN HIGHGATE have the quintessential singing background. They are a trio of Hamilton-based vocal performers who are well established, through friendship, family and Stewart Memorial Church, as singers of every kind of soul. Their voices blend to bring richness and depth to Higher Ground.
LORRAINE SCOTT has been performing in Toronto since relocating from Columbus, Ohio, currently with The Lorraine Scott Group. Her first acting gig was on Broadway in Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story. She has toured extensively, thrilling audiences with her authentic Disco Diva Show and performed with artists as diverse as Jeff Healey and reggae great Beres Hammond. Lorraine is a mainstay, featured solo performer in Motown revues. Her solo CDs ALL TALK and TUNE BOX have given her four JUNO nominations. Lorraine is the ‘real deal’ adding genuine soul to Higher Ground.
