Artword Artbar: clubhouse for Hamilton Fringe Festival, July 19-29

From July 19 to 29, 2012, it’s Hamilton Fringe Theatre Festival time. Artword Artbar, 15 Colbourne Street, is the Fringe Clubhouse, open daily during the Festival from about 5 pm weekdays, noon on weekends until late (midnight, 1:00 am). Meet-up before/after shows, light meals, espresso, licenced under the AGCO. Special Fringe events at Artword Artbar (see following posts). In the Gallery each Fringe show is invited to mount a display.

Venue #1: Hamilton Theatre Inc, 140 MacNab Street North (just north of Cannon). This is a beautiful venue with a long history of presenting excellent theatre. Seating capacity: 90.
Venue #2: 141 Park Street North (also just north of Cannon). This fabulous venue is located in a former church building. For the 2012 Hamilton Fringe we have converted the main hall into an 80 seat proscenium theatre.
Venue #3: The Citadel Theatre is on the second floor of the Southern Ontario College at 28 Rebecca (at Hughson Street North). The Hamilton Fringe venue in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011. The stage is raised, fixed theatre-style seating. Seating capacity: 125.
Venue #4: The Citadel Studio (aka “the Gym”) is on the first floor of the Southern Ontario College (see #3). The stage is on the floor with the audience on seating risers. Seating capacity: 75.
