“Close to the Truth”, Buckshot Bebee & Edgar Breau, Fri March 15

Friday March 15 at 8 pm, $8, at Artword Artbar. Buckshot describes the evening:  “Close to the Truth” is an unlikely clash of show business and modern day lyricism. Singer/songwriter and performer Buckshot Bebee and Edgar Breau have come together to share their stories thru song and story telling. Some of it is true….some stories are just “close to the truth” .
Performing songs from her soon to be released album “Merchants of Youth”, Buckshot is backed by the Secret Boyfriends, Andrew Aldridge (Wild Strawberries, Sarah Sleen) and Greg Brisco (Dinner Bells, Tongue Fu).
Sharing the stage with Edgar has been an inspiration for Buckshot. Edgar’s recent release “Patches of Blue” is full of smooth grooves, latin jazz influences and colourful imagery. Just gorgeous!! Buckshot was drawn to Edgar’s raw and quirky voice and asked him to perform “Head Over Heels” in the studio. This song will be one of the tracks on “Merchants of Youth”
