HFAC Holiday Season Open House, Thurs Dec 19, 6 to 8 pm

Thursday, December 19, 6 to 8 pm, free. Hamilton Friendship Association with Cuba invites you to their Holiday Season Open House, with live music, poetry and open mic and more! Light refreshments and cash bar. Artword Artbar, 15 Colbourne St.
Guests are invited to stay on after the open house for a PWYC evening of music by Lori Yates and friends, as they showcase what they have learned in Lori’s Creative Genius songwriting workshops!
The HFAC executive and Community Committee will be on hand to welcome our members and friends. They will announce the HFAC’s exciting program for Black History Month, in February of 2014, as well as discussing on-going Cuba friendship work, including the recent and extremely successful Africa’s Unknown War Symposium in Toronto. The symposium commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Battle at Cuito Cuanavale. We would also like as 2013 comes to a close to thank the many individuals and organizations that have made Hamilton Cuba Friendship work a success!
