HOT BLUES, Diana Braithwaite and Chris Whiteley, Sat March 22

Saturday March 22 at 8 pm, $15. Diana Braithwaite and Chris Whiteley present Hot Blues – a show that combines classic and original blues with a vintage flavour. Featuring Diana’s internationally renowned vocals, and Chris’ award-winning skill on guitar, trumpet and harmonica, they draw the audience in with their musicianship, stories and history, and even some “blues dancing.” They have recently visited South Carolina and Virginia for Festival appearances, and have visited the UK, Russia and Europe multiple times, along with many Canadian and American shows. Their list of awards includes 9 Maple Blues Awards, Gemini Award, Golden Sheaf Award (songwriting), and 6 Juno nominations.
