Friday, September 19, 2014, at 8 pm, $8. A concert by songwriters Chris and Christa Bradbury (Social Animals) and special guest Trevor Howard.
“The band evolved from the song writing of Chris and Christa Bradbury, a couple from opposite sides of the globe, who met by chance, fell in love and were immediately drawn into sharing their passion for music by creating their own. Chris’ memorable guitar riffs create the perfect setting for Christa’s searing vocals and mood driven piano. The listener may be reminded of Janis Joplin or Led Zeppelin, but is immediately aware that they are witnessing something completely new. Brothers and sisters, you are about to be Socialized!” http://www.socialanimals.ca/
“Solidly recorded and impeccably performed, his guitar prowess deftly compliments the power and cadence of her voice” Ric Taylor (View magazine-CFMU 93.3FM)
“I was awe-struck by the jaw dropping vocals of Christa Bradbury and the power of Chris’ guitar; they held me in a trance”. Angelo Noto Campanella (The Hamiltonian)
Special guest for the evening is singer-songwriter Trevor Howard. “It all began for Trevor Howard with an eight-track of Alice Cooper and a 12-inch vinyl of Donny Osmond. “Didn’t We Meet in the Night in My Sleep” and “Go Away Little Girl” were his anthems of choice for guests at his big sister’s pool parties. It was at the mere age of five he decided this was his destiny (as if he had a choice) – a songwriter and musician was born.” http://www.ghostsofmemphis.com
