Concert: Neeraj Prem, sitar, Fri Mar 19

Friday March 19 at 8 pm at Artword Artbar, 15 Colbourne Street, tickets $15.  Sounds of Compassion for Haiti, a concert of East Indian music, with Neeraj Prem on sitar and vocals, Prem Tiwari on tabla and Jordan Abraham on accordion. The theme of the evening is compassion. Musically the evening will be mystical and supernatural through the sounds of Indian Sitar and other instruments, mostly Indian classical music with the elements of folk and gazhals. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Haiti Relief Fund at St. Joseph’s. Call 905-543-8512
