Visit the Fieldcote grounds for a delightful afternoon listening to songs and stories of 1812 as played by the nationally-renowned Ian Bell of Muddy York and enjoy a sampling of our version of some rustic soldier’s fare. Wander through the museum exhibit on the Bloody Assize of 1812 and watch our volunteer quilters as they demonstrate their sewing skills on our Bloody Assize commemorative quilt.

Schedule of events -
12:30 & 2:30pm, concerts by Ian Bell, of Muddy York stories and songs from 1812;
1-5pm, Museum exhibit open for viewing;
1-5pm, 1812 Bloody Assize Quilt – quilting demonstration;
12:30-5pm, enjoy tasting our version of rustic soldiers’ fare.
